Primary Habitat:  Gardens, Hedgerows

Wingspan:  14-18mm

Flight Period: June - September

Observations:  Larvae feed on Rose bushes. Adults are quite variable, with some forms resembling A. permutana. Often found in garden light traps.

Confusion Species:  A. permutana

L.O.N.:  Rather common in many places and very variable in colour. 09 Aug - 15 Sept.
