Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Wasteground

Wingspan:  15mm

Flight Period:  June - August

Observations:  Larvae feed on a range of low-growing plants such as Thyme, Thrift and Clovers. Adults tend not to come to light traps, and are better recorded by day.

Confusion Species:  C. rivulana
