Distribution/Abundance:  Common

Primary Habitat:  Woodland, Hedgerows, Gardens

Wingspan:  15-18mm

Flight Period:  May - July

Observations:  Larvae feed on various Prunus species. Adults frequent in garden light traps but care is required to separate this from other bird dropping mimics.
