Distribution/Abundance:  Common

Primary Habitat:  Woodland, Hedgerows, Gardens

Wingspan:  15-21mm

Flight Period:  June - August

Observations:  Larvae feed on various Prunus species and other trees. Adults frequent in garden light traps but care is required to separate this from other bird dropping mimics.
