Primary Habitat:  Wasteground, Roadside verges, River banks

Wingspan:  15-19mm

Flight Period:  June - August

Observations:  Larvae feed within the seedheads of Teasel.

Confusion Species:  E. oblongana, E. marginana

L.O.N.:  Common in most places where Teasels abound
