Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Grassland, Wasteground

Wingspan:  13mm

Flight Period:  June - July

Observations:  The larva feeds on Bugle, initially in the rootstock, and after hibernation, in the stalks of leaves. Adult moths are active in the afternoon sunshine, but will attend light traps. Adults must be dissected to confirm ID.
