Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Damp Woodland, River sides

Wingspan:  12-18mm

Flight Period:  May - August

Observations:  Larvae feed on various Sallows. Apparently rarely comes to light, but further records may possibly be obtained by dusking.

Confusion Species:  A. geminana, A. subarcuana
