Primary Habitat:  Woodland, Damp woodland

Wingspan:  12-17mm

Flight Period:  July - September

Observations:  Larvae feed on Sallows and Poplars. This species was recently split into two (see E. cinereana) and thus older records will likely include both species.

Confusion Species:  E. cinereana
