Distribution/Abundance:  Local

Primary Habitat:  Woodland

Wingspan:  10-13mm

Flight Period:  May - June

Observations:  Larvae feed on Norway Spruce, initially mining the needles, then in a silken web in a leaf tangle. Adults fly on sunny afternoons and come to light.

Confusion Species:  E. nemorivaga, E. fraternana
