Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Woodland

Wingspan:  16-21mm

Flight Period:  August - September

Observations:  Larvae feed on Birch. Adults tend to fly at dusk may be knocked out from foliage during the day. Only occasionally seen at light, which may explain the lack of modern records.

Confusion Species:  Epiblema scutulana
