Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Woodland

Wingspan:  12-15mm

Flight Period:  July - August

Observations:  Larvae feed on the shoots of various conifer trees, including Norway & Sitka Spruce and Scots Pine. Adults may be netted around the foorplant at dusk, but also attend light.

Confusion Species:  Z. rufimitrana
