Distribution/Abundance:  Scarce

Primary Habitat:  Damp woodland

Wingspan:  12-15mm

Flight Period:  July - August

Observations:  Larvae feed within the twigs of Poplars and Sallows. Possibly under-recorded, given that it seems more common in neighbouring counties.

Confusion Species:  G. aceriana, G. dealbana, G. oppressana
