Distribution/Abundance:  Scarce

Primary Habitat:  Wasteground

Wingspan:  13-18mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: May - June, July - September

Observations:  Larvae feed on the roots and stems of Ragwort. Adults apparently do not come readily to light (and hence few modern records), so might be best recorded by day, particularly late afternon and evening.
