Distribution/Abundance:  Local

Primary Habitat:  Woodland

Wingspan:  16-24mm

Flight Period:  June - August

Observations:  Larvae feed on various Pines. The adults reportedly do not come well to light, however the majority of VC32 records are from moth trap results. Adults may also be knocked out of foliage during the day.

Confusion Species:  R. pinicolana
