Primary Habitat:  Woodland

Wingspan:  11-12mm

Flight Period:  August - September

Observations:  Larvae feed on the flowers of Blackthorn and Hawthorn. The adults tend to fly around the tops of trees on sunny afternoons and evenings, and probably not strongly attracted to light.
