Status:  Resident

Distribution/Abundance:  Scarce

Primary Habitat:  Grassland, Gardens, Roadside verges

Wingspan:  12-16mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: May - June, July - September

Observations:  Larvae feed in the seedpods of Gorse and Broom. Adults fly by day but do also come to light.

Confusion Species:  C. succedana, C. medicaginis

L.O.N.:  Abundant round Ulex and very variable
