Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Woodland, riversides, carr

Wingspan:  11-15mm

Flight Period:  Late May- July

Observations:  Larvae feed inside the stems of Goat Willow and Grey Willow, forming a gall in the twig. Adults are on the wing on sunny afternoons through to evening, and rarely attend light traps. Adults may be recorded by using the FAG lure (designed for Cydia fagiglandana).
