Observations: Larvae
feed under the bark of Scots and Corsican Pines. Adults fly during the day in sunshine
during May and June, and sometimes again in August as a small second
brood. Adults are seldom seen as they tend to remain near the tops of trees in flight. They may be attracted to the synthetic Goat Moth lure (one recorded thus in Dallington on 15.v.2020).
