Status:  Resident

Distribution/Abundance:  Scarce

Primary Habitat:  Wasteground, Grassland

Wingspan:  10-13mm

Flight Period:  June - August

Observations:  Larvae feed on the roots of Yarrow, Sneezewort and Tansy. Adults may be seen on sunny afternoons and evenings flying around the foodplant, and thus most records are from daytime observations.

Confusion Species:  Depending on wear on the individual, potential confusion with several other Dichrorampha species is possible

L.O.N.:  Abundant almost everywhere where Yarrow abounds.
