Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Flight Period:  June - August

Observations:  Pete Sharpe took one example of this species on 17.viii.2005 in his Kingsthorpe garden (SP76) - which proved to be the first record for Britain.

Confusion Species:  E. ocellea, separated only by dissection of the genitalia.
