Distribution/Abundance:  Common

Primary Habitat:  Grassland, Gardens

Wingspan:  20mm

Flight Period:  June - August

Observations:  Larvae feed on various grasses. Adults are easily flushed by day and attend light traps. A darker/streaked form exists (f. warringtonellus) which bears a resemblance to Agriphila tristella and Agriphila selasella.
