Distribution/Abundance:  Common

Primary Habitat:  Damp locations

Wingspan:  17-22mm

Flight Period:  May - October, (possibly bivoltine)

Observations:  Larvae feed on mosses. Adults more easily identified from its congeners due to the narrow-winged posture at rest.

Confusion Species: 

L.O.N.:  Wadenhoe, September 1906, once only.
