Primary Habitat:  Rivers, Ditches, Gardens

Wingspan:  15-28mm

Flight Period:  June - September

Observations:  The aquatic larvae feed on various water plants such as Pondweeds. The adults are sexually dimorphic with the females being generally larger and having darker forewing colouration.
