Distribution/Abundance:  Adventive, expanding range

Primary Habitat:  Woodland, waste ground

Flight Period:  May - October

Observations:  Originally a native of Australia and New Zealand, and first recorded in the UK (Dorset) in 2009, this species has been gradually expanding its range into neighbouring counties in recent years. The larvae feed upon various ferns, including Bracken.
