Primary Habitat:  Chalky grassland

Wingspan:  20mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: May - June, July - September

Observations:  The larvae feed on Corn Mint and Thyme. The adults fly by day and also come to light

Confusion Species:  P. aurata, P. ostrinalis

L.O.N.:  Barnwell Wold, Castor, Brigstock. Locally common.
