Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Grassland, Gardens

Wingspan:  14-17mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: between April - October

Observations:  The larvae feed on various herbs, including Thyme and Marjoram. The adults fly by day and also come to light.

Confusion Species: 

L.O.N.:  Faxton, Castor. Only twice; flying in sunshine over Thyme.
