Distribution/Abundance:  Common

Primary Habitat:  Woodland, Hedgerows

Wingspan:  18-24mm

Flight Period:  July - August

Observations:  Larvae feed on Hawthorn and occasionally Rowan.

Confusion Species:  Care needed to separate from e.g. Acrobasis suavella, Acrobasis consociella, Acrobasis marmorea, Acrobasis repandana, especially in worn individuals

L.O.N.:  Geddington Chase, near Kettering. Occasionally at sugar

First Record:  1907, Wallis
