Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Limestone grassland

Wingspan:  20-27mm

Flight Period:  June - July

Observations:  Larvae feed on Wild Marjoram, overwintering as a part-grown larva. In spring larvae may be found by investigating drooping/wilting plants of Marjoram with the larva feeding on the wilted leaves. The adults are easily kicked-up in the daytime, and also attend light.
