Primary Habitat:  Calcareous grassland

Wingspan:  14-23mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine: June, August - September

Observations:  Larvae feed on the flowerheads of Ploughman's Spikenard.

Confusion Species:  Care must be taken in differentiating this from other Hellinsia species.
