B&F: 1663
ABH: 70.245
Status: Resident.
Distribution
and Abundance: Common.
Primary Habitat: General
occurrence.
Flight Period: Single
brooded in February and March.
Observations: Although
still plentiful, the males do not seem to come to light
as abundantly as formerly. In my experience the female is
very difficult to find. Its small size and obscure
appearance must help in this respect, also it was not
taken in Gradwell traps left out at Geddington Chase for
several seasons, unlike most other wingless female
species.
L.O.N.: 1907.
Many localities. Common.
First Record:1882, Hull &
Tomalin.
