Observations: Although
known from few localities over the years the species was
regarded as common at Castor Hanglands in the first half
of the last century by R.E.M. Pilcher writing in the
1960s in unpublished material. Although the reserve
has been well worked the moth has not been seen there
since. Earlier known sites are Farming Woods 1955 and
Weekley Hall Wood 19211932.
