  Small Blood-vein Scopula imitaria

B&F: 1690

ABH: 70.024

Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Common.

Primary Habitat: Gardens.

Flight Period: Single brooded in July and August.

Observations: In my experience the moth is much more plentiful in gardens than other habitats and in the past I have found the caterpillar on honeysuckle in my own garden. Although the moth has produced an autumn brood in the county, this appears to be very exceptional.

L.O.N.: 1907. Many localities. Rather common.

First Record: 1882, Hull & Tomalin.
