brooded from June to August.
Observations: The
Fineshade Rothamsted light trap running in woodland in
the 1990s show an average annual catch of
forty-eight moths for this species with an overall flight
period of 29 June to 2 September. I have seen the form
ab. fimbriolata occasionally in the county.
