Status: Migrant.

Distribution and Abundance: Irregular.

Primary Habitat: General occurrence.

Flight Period: Records extend from June to December.

Observations: Increasingly seen over the last decade or so, the moth has been taken annually in the Pitsford Water light traps in the years from 2000 to 2002. In the exceptional migration year of 2006, six examples were seen in the county. Numerically this is rather nearer to the norm than the increases seen in some of the other migrant species.
