Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Common.

Primary Habitat: Grassland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in July and August.

Observations: Although the moth is recorded sparingly at the Pitsford Water m.v. light traps it is common at the tungsten filament lamp operating in the Fineshade Rothamsted trap. The following figures support this:-
