Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Rare.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Double brooded from May to August.

Record: 22 July 1985 Southey Wood (A. Foster).

Observations: The few earlier localities in which this species has been noted include Woodford Halse and Charwelton 1975, Bedford Purlieus 1964, Salcey Forest 1955 and Thorpe Reservoir 1945.

L.O.N.: 1907. Near Stanion. Not common.
