Distribution
and Abundance: Fairly common.
Primary Habitat: Gardens.
Flight Period: Single
brooded in July and August.
Localities: Deanshanger
School grounds, Horn Wood, Brampton Wood and Short Wood.
Observations: The
moth is common at m.v. light in my garden in Kettering
where it feeds on the old currant and gooseberry bushes.
It is also present locally in woodland and hedgerows
throughout the county where currant and gooseberry
introductions occur.
