Distribution
and Abundance: Local.
Primary Habitat: Gardens.
Flight Period: Single
brooded from June into August.
Localities:
Hazelborough Forest, Kelmarsh Lake, Geddington Chase and
Spanhoe Wood.
Observations: In
my experience the moth is not strongly attracted to m.v.
light. It occurs on the red and black currant bushes in
my garden and can be disturbed from the bushes by day.
Although I have operated a garden moth trap during the
moths flight period annually I have only seen the moth at
light once in the past decade.
