brooded in May and June and again from August to October.
Observations: Generally the
second brood moths seem to be more plentiful than those of the first
brood. This applied at the Pitsford Reservoir light traps for the
years 1999 to 2002, with around four times as many second brood moths
being seen overall, i.e., nine first brood and forty-four second brood
moths over the four years.
