B&F: 1789

ABH: 70.121

Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Local.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in June and July.

Localities: Lodge Copse, Salcey Forest, Yardley Chase and Sulby Gardens.

Observations: The species now seems to be almost entirely confined to south Northants and in my experience is nowhere as common as along the sallow edged rides in Hazelborough Forest. In 2007 a singleton was taken at light at Old Sulehay Forest.

First Record: 1859, Whall.
