Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Local.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in May and June.

Localities: Salcey Forest, Brampton Wood, Lilford Park and Fineshade.

Observations: The caterpillar was common on 27 August 1992 on marjoram growing along the old railway line at Wakerley.
