Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Common.

Primary Habitat: Waste ground.

Flight Period: Single brooded in July and August.

Observations: The caterpillars were fairly common on yarrow at Barford Meadows in September 1991. In the decade to 2009 the Pitsford Water light trap returns show an annual average of two moths trapped with no moths seen in two of the years.
