Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Local.

Primary Habitat: Grassland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in June and July.

Localities: Kingsthorpe, Storefield Wood, Fineshade, and Castor Hanglands.

Observations: The species often occurs commonly on the limestone grassland of Collyweston Quarry and on 4 June 1988 was seen there in good numbers with fifteen moths coming to m.v. light.
