Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Local.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in April and May.

Localities: Horn Wood, Salcey Forest, Brigstock and Easton Hornstocks.

Observations: The moth is usually seen in small numbers at light. This is borne out by recent catches at the Pitsford Water light traps with an annual average of three moths in the five years to 2003 and the Fineshade Rothamsted Insect Survey which resulted in eight moths being taken in the 1990’s.
