Distribution and Abundance: Local

Primary Habitat: Woodland

Flight Period: Double brooded from June to August

Localities: Nene College Park Campus, Geddington Chase, Wakerley Wood and Castor Hanglands

Observations: Ash Pug was formerly recognised as a species, but has recently been incorporated into the Angle-barred Pug complex and thus both species are included here

L.O.N.: 1902. Weedon, near Kettering. Not common.
