B&F: 1883
ABH: 70.200
Status: Resident.
Distribution and Abundance: Fairly
common.
Primary Habitat: Woodland.

brooded from May to August.
Observations: My
own field records show that I have seen the moth in nine
out of the last ten years, but always in very small
numbers. Records from the Fineshade Rothamsted light
trap from 1993 to 2000 confirm this trait, with the moth
being recorded as a singleton in each of the four years
that it was seen, i.e. 29 May 1995, 11 August 1996, 2
August 1999 and 7 August 2000.
L.O.N.: Undated.
Weedon district.
First Record: 1902,
Victoria County History.
