Observations: This record, that is marked reared, is taken from a Kettering and District Natural History Society record card that has been endorsed by Arthur Cooper, “First time for list. County record? Rather early.” As I know that Frank Adams used to collect and rear caterpillars I think that the record of the moth shown above was from a caterpillar that was presumably found at Broughton in 1945.
