Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Rather local.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in June and July.

Localities: Yardley Chase, Pitsford Water, Weldon Park and Easton Hornstocks.

Observations: The Fineshade Rothamsted light trap running in woodland for eight years in the 1990’s shows an average catch of two moths per annum and an overall flight period from 28 June to 13 July.

L.O.N.: 1907. Several localities. Not uncommon.
