Status: Resident.
Distribution
and Abundance: Fairly common.
Primary Habitat: Woodland.
Flight Period: Single
brooded in November and December.
Observations: The
moth was plentiful in the 1970s in actinic light
traps left overnight under beech at Grafton Park Wood. It
was much less so in the 1990s in m.v. light traps
run overnight in a beech wood within Geddington Chase. In
the past I have found the pupae commonly under oaks in
woodland.
