Distribution and Abundance: Common.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Double brooded from May to August.

Observations: Returns from the Fineshade woodland Rothamsted light trap for seven years in the 1990’s show a total of forty-eight moths recorded with an overall flight period from 13 May to 18 August.

Confusion Species: Common Wave
